To add a new Employer to an Enterprise Adviser record, search and/or filter for the Enterprise Adviser record you want to update or amend (see the Help Centre article Searching and filtering Enterprise Adviser records.
Scroll down the Enterprise Adviser record to the ‘New Employer’ field:
Start typing the company name and select it from the dropdown if it appears:
If you know the company number, you can also start typing that into the ‘New Employer’ field, and select it from the dropdown if it appears:
You can search for a company number using the Companies House lookup service.
Some companies may require further steps to add them as a New Employer, particularly those whose company name does not match public perception:

Some organisations are not companies. This can apply for example to some Local Authorities, where this is the case, we can add these organisations to the employer table so you can then attach them to an Enterprise Adviser, please submit a support request.
