There is a ‘Notes’ field on EC, EA, institution and primary school records. This can be used to record operational information, for example, the area an Enterprise Co-Ordinator works in, if an Enterprise Co-Ordinator is taking over from someone else or being replaced by another Enterprise Co-Ordinator etc.
Personal information can only be added to the ‘Notes’ section if there is a clear business need to record this in EANR, for example an alternative contact number or email address for an EC.
Please DO NOT use the Notes section to record any special category data:

- Examples may include DBS numbers, or identifying when an EA’s child attends an institution.
Entering special category data here is a data incident and will need to be reported to the CEC compliance team. Only record information in the ‘Notes’ field that is adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary to meet business needs.
If you are contacted and asked to remove sensitive information from the ‘Notes’ field, we ask that you ensure this is completed as a priority.
Partner Users, Sub-Contractors and Enterprise Co-Ordinators can all edit and update the notes field in EANR records.
