Firstly login to EANR: https://auth.careersandenterprise.co.uk/eanr
Click on ‘Records’ on the left-hand navigation bar.
Click on ‘Compass Progress Report’.
Viewing and downloading Compass Progress Reports
You will be shown a list of your Institutions. You can sort the list by:
- URN
- Name
- Sub-contractor
- Enterprise Co-Ordinator
- Ever done a Compass evaluation
Two sets of filters are also available:

Institution filters:
This enables you to filter your Institutions by criteria including whether an Institution is matched with an Enterprise Adviser, or whether an Institution is in the network. -
Compass filters:
These options enable you to filter your Institutions including whether an Institution has completed a Compass Evaluation, and to see how they are preforming against Gatsby Benchmarks over time.
Click on ‘Generate report’ to download a Compass Progress Report as an Excel spreadsheet:
- If no filters are applied, a Compass Progress report for all open Institutions will download
- If filters are applied, a Compass Progress report only the filtered Institutions will download.

Viewing site level Compass Progress Reports
When an institution has multiple sites, a Compass Admin can create users for different sites. When users are assigned editor permissions, editors can log into Compass and complete a Compass evaluation for the site they are assigned to.
There is guidance available in the Compass+ Help Centre for creating Compass evaluations for different sites within an institution.
Once there is a completed Compass evaluation for a site, the Compass Admin can go into Compass and assign a Compass site evaluation to an EANR site (a pop-up box will automatically appear that asks a user to assign Compass sites to EANR sites.)
Once this is done the results automatically pull through to the ‘Compass Progress Report’ section of EANR and are assigned to the correct EANR site.
From the ‘Compass Progress Report’ section on EANR a user can view site level Compass evaluations by:
- Using the search function to find the institution that has multiple sites
- Clicking the green ‘Generate Report’ button to download this data into an Excel spreadsheet.
The Compass progress report will include site level evaluations for all sites the user is permitted to view.
You can apply the ‘EANR site evaluation only’ filter, from the Compass filters, to view only the site level evaluations for a whole institution. If this filter is applied, the whole institution evaluations are excluded.
